BELL MUSCLES ARMOR IN BRASS

The muscle cuirass, also known as the heroic cuirass, demonstrated the Greek's love for concept of physical perfection. Some were literal, others, like the Bell Muscle Brass Armour, are a more conceptualized version of physical perfection. Typically, muscle cuirasses would be modeled after depictions of the Greek gods, featuring nothing less than an ideal male physique. This particular cuirass is less literal in a physical depiction, instead focusing on creating the shapes of the chest and muscle while leaving the rest undefined. The cuirass features a high collar that offers additional protection to the neck, as well as small bands around the abdomen that add subtle decoration and strength to the cuirass' stomach. The arms of the cuirass are also left fairly open, ensuring that the warrior can move his arms unrestricted and with ease--something especially useful to Greek warriors, who favored throwing spears before advancing into close combat. This armour is made from fine metal materials and features a truly impressive looking polished brass finish. The breastplate secures to the back plate along the shoulders and the sides. Oftentimes, armour was a statement of its original wearer, given that most suits of plate armor were custom-made for their owner. A traditional warrior would have favored the less-embellished look of the Bell Muscle Brass Armour, making this the armour of a traditional Grecian warrior.

Muscle Cuirass

The Muscle Cuirass is a fantastic example of classic Greek armour that would have been favored by any Greek warrior going into battle. The sculpted look of the armour was not only highly effective, but it also enhanced a warrior's appearance. Of course, warriors were not concerned with style, but rather their heavily muscled armor could be considered an intimidation tactic against their respective enemies. This armour, like most muscle cuirasses, features a heroic shape that depicts a well-muscled and well-defined male torso, cast in quality metals. At the center of the armour's breastplate is a decorative medallion that depicts a gorgon's visage. Hinged fasteners attached to the back plate are used to secure the armour together. Small rings on the sides exist to further secure the armour together and to act as harnesses, should anything need to be suspended from the armor and not a belt around the waist. This armour is made from quality metals and features an impressive, glimmering look, thanks to its polished appearance. Modeled after the statuesque armour of the Greek warriors of old, this classic Muscle Cuirass is a fantastic piece that would make a great addition to any collector's armory, as well as a first-rate piece of armor for any enthusiast or re-enactor to wear into battle.
